Ad Request Process Flow

The HI BAR Request Portal is a resource designed by Self Opportunity Inc. to make it simple, quick and cost effective to submit staffing needs for placement on major job board and social platforms.

Upon receiving your request we will use the information from the form to complete your request. Example job descriptions are shown below under Job Copy Examples.

Once the request has been completed the Self Opportunity Advertising Team will notate the date the request was fulfilled on the Google Sheet at the bottom of this page. Requests are often fulfilled same day or at the latest, in one business day. To view this page in a separate window Click Here.

Hi Bar Best Campaign Practices

  • For Hourly

    For hourly team members the recommended apply to method is www.hopdoddy.com/ava

    • This campaign is front loaded to perform its best over the coarse of about 10days with the ZipRecruiter Post staying live an additional 20 days. Facebook Job Board Leads are emailed to you on day 5 and 10 of the campaign.

    Indeed Sponsored is a 10-day posting.

    • The ad is best configured with an email apply to a recruiter. Indeed will show ‘Easily Apply’ on the post which candidates favor when searching.
    • Sponsored Indeed ads utilize the budget provided to show the ads in competition with other job postings. The total budget is divided up for 10 days use and will utilize a daily budget each day until exhausted, the larger the total budget the larger the daily budget and longer the ad will remain competitive each day.
    • Searching for your ad on this platform will subtract from the budget as if you were a candidate.

  • ZipRecruiter

    ZipRecruiter Traffic Boosted is a 30-day posting.

    • The first 14 days are boosted to generate candidates fast. The latter 14 days is normal performance.
    • This ad is best configured with an email apply to a recruiter. ZipRecruiter will show ‘Quick Apply’ on the post which candidates favor when searching.
    • It is important to note that ZipRecruiter may send a verification request to the email listed as the apply. If this email is ignored it can halt applicant flow to the email listed.

  • CareerBuilder

    CareerBuilder is a 30-day posting.

    • This ad is best configured with an email apply to a recruiter. Careerbuilder will show ‘Easy Apply’ on the post which candidates favor when searching.
    • Adding a payrate is important to include if possible, this is how many candidate prefer to search on this platform.

    Monster PPC (Pay Per Click) is a 30-day posting.

    • This ad is best configured with an email apply to a recruiter. Careerbuilder will show ‘Easy Apply’ on the post which candidates favor when searching.

    • Adding a payrate is important to include if possible, this is common practice on this platform.
    • Once an ad is placed it is at the top of the list for the market it was placed in. The ad over time is then pushed down as more jobs are posted in that market.
  • Facebook Sponsored

    Facebook Sponsored is a 10/14day posting.

    • This ad is best configured with a URL link to a dedicated req or career site. 
    • A phone number can be configured as the call to action instead of a URL if preferred. 
    • This is a passive advertisement tool that is not searched by users, the ad is shown in the Facebook environment on users timeline, newsfeed, and sidebar.
    • Sponsored Facebook ads utilize the budget provided to show the ads in competition with other ads on Facebook. The total budget is divided up for 10/14 days use and will utilize a daily budget each day until exhausted, the larger the total budget the larger the daily budget and longer the ad will remain competitive each day.
    • Image or short video ads are supported on this platform (Video ads will auto play on mute, under 60 seconds is recommended).

  • Facebook Lead Gen

    Facebook Lead Gen is a 10-day posting.

    • Formerly offered as Facebook Job Board
    • This ad is managed by the Self Opportunity Advertising Team.
    • Applications will be in the form of a Lead (Name, Phone Number, Email) and will be delivered by Self Opportunity on Mon. Wed. & Fri. of the ad run.

  • Facebook Event

    Instagram Sponsored is a 10-day posting.

    • This ad is best configured with a URL link to a dedicated req or career site. 
    • A phone number can be configured as the call to action instead of a URL if preferred. 
    • This is a passive advertisement tool that is not searched by users, the ad is shown in the Instagram environment on users Feeds, Stories, and Explore.
    • Sponsored Instagram ads utilize the budget provided to show the ads in competition with other ads on Facebook. The total budget is divided up for 10 days use and will utilize a daily budget each day until exhausted, the larger the total budget the larger the daily budget and longer the ad will remain competitive each day.

  • Resume Search

    Resume Search is a 5/10-day posting.

    This is a service best suited for hourly roles but can be expanded to lower-level management roles if needed. For upper-level management and higher, the Direct Placement service is recommended.
    The search is conducted by one of our Senior Resume Sourcing Team. The Sourcer will invite potential candidates to respond with interest to your role based on their work history and geographical location. The larger the budget provide, the more potential candidates can be invited to apply to your role.
    On the 5th day of the search The Sourcer will capture and send you the contact information of the candidates who showed interest in the role searched. On the 10th day The Sourcer will send any new contacts received from the initial contacts provided on day 5th.

When a request is submitted on the Hi Bar Ad Request Portal it is immediately deposited on this sheet as a line item for your viewing. In addition, the Self Opportunity Advertising Team will update this sheet to communicate the request has been posted letting you know when your request is fulfilled.
